Cover pages
Add a welcome screen with a heading, image and a “start” button before the questions begin.
A cover page is an optional welcome screen. It sets context (and expectations, like “takes ~2 minutes”) before the first question, and tends to lift completion on longer forms.
Layouts
| Layout | Looks like |
|---|---|
| Centered | Image and text centered on the screen |
| Split | Image on one side, content on the other |
| Background | A full-bleed background image with content on top |
| Minimal | Text only, no image |
What you can set
- Heading, description and the start button text (defaults to “Start”).
- A short meta line, e.g. “Takes ~2 min”.
- A logo, a cover image (with optional credit), and color/overlay options to match your brand.
Note
When a cover page is on, it counts as the first step in the progress indicator, and respondents can return to it with Back from the first question.
