Build your first form
Go from blank canvas to a live, shareable form in a few minutes.
This walkthrough gets you from nothing to a published form you can share. It takes about five minutes.
- Open the builder. Go to the dashboard and click New form — or start from a ready-made template to save time.
- Add your questions. Add fields from the field palette (short text, email, dropdown, rating, file upload and more). Click any field to edit its label, placeholder, help text and whether it’s required. See Field types.
- Give it a look. Open the Design area and pick a theme, or set your accent color and logo. See Themes & presets.
- Set what happens after submit. Write a thank-you message (or redirect), and turn on email notifications so you’re alerted to new responses. See Completion screens and Notification & confirmation emails.
- Preview and publish. Use the live preview to test your form, then switch its status from Draft to Live. See Publishing your form.
- Share it. Copy your form’s link (
/f/your-form-id) or grab the embed snippet to drop it on your site. See Sharing your form and Embedding on your site.
Tip
Your form saves as you work. It won’t accept real responses until you set it to Live, so feel free to experiment in Draft first.
What next?
- Add conditional logic to show or hide questions based on earlier answers.
- Split long forms into multiple pages or try conversational mode.
- Connect submissions to Notion, Sheets, a webhook and more.
- Watch your conversion funnel to see where people drop off.
