For people filling out a form (FAQ)
Answers for respondents — privacy, closed forms, uploads and editing.
This page is for anyone filling out a HigherStack form, rather than building one.
Is my information private?
Your answers go to the organization that created the form, on their own infrastructure — not to a third-party form vendor. How they use your data is governed by their privacy policy. For how the platform handles data generally, see the privacy policy.
The form says it’s closed or not accepting responses
The owner has either paused it, set a deadline, or reached a response limit. Reach out to whoever sent you the form if you think it should still be open.
It says I’ve already submitted
Some forms accept only one response per person (matched on something like your email). If you believe that’s a mistake, contact the form’s owner.
Can I edit my answers after submitting?
Not from your side once it’s submitted. If you need a change, contact the organization that sent you the form; they can usually update or remove your response.
My file won’t upload
- Check the file type is allowed — some questions accept only certain formats.
- Very large files can fail on slow connections; try again or use a smaller file.
The form won’t submit
Look for fields highlighted with an error message — usually a required question or an email/phone that needs a valid format. Fix those and try again. If you submitted very rapidly several times, wait a moment and retry.
Still need help?
A dedicated support form is coming soon. In the meantime, jump back into the product or reach the team from the contact page.
