AI & translation setup

Connect an AI provider so editors can auto-translate forms.

Auto-translation is powered by an AI provider that a workspace admin configures once. After that, editors can translate any form with a click.

Setting it up (admin)

  1. In Settings, open the AI / LLM configuration.
  2. Choose a provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic or DeepSeek) and paste an API key.
  3. Test the connection, then save. The key is stored securely server-side.

Using it

With a provider configured, open a form’s Language settings, pick target languages and run auto-translate. Review and tidy the results — machine translations are a strong first draft. See Multi-language forms.

Note

The AI key powers translation only and is never exposed to the browser. If translation is unavailable, ask a workspace admin to set up a provider.
